There are innumerable types of fabric available for home decoration. The fabric transforms a cold house into a loving home. The warmth and feeling to the room can be providing by using the correct fabric and patterns. As there are many fabrics available, it becomes a herculean task to choose the correct fabric. One of the best ways to do it is to match the fabric with the theme that you have.
The theme of the home and fabric:
There are mainly three home décor themes in vogue and the fabric can be used accordingly.

• Tuscan theme: For the Tuscan them, the fabrics for home decorating can be woven texture, such as banana fiber fabrics, savannah cloth, etc. Though these fabrics are bit heavy yet their flexibility make them as perfect choice.
• Cottage theme: use floral patterns in lighter fabrics. The brighter colors are more popular. The pattern should be colorful and bold. Printed fabric with fruits and vegetables are also used.
• Victorian theme: The fabric used for this theme should be brocade and velvet. The colors should be dark and rich like burgundy, blue or green. Lace, ribbons and beads can also be used.
